Who Is Behind Fabulous50s?
I’m Schellea Fowler (you can call me Shelly), and I’m a 59-year-old woman living in Australia who truly believes that life after 50 can be the most rewarding chapter of all. Before starting Fabulous50s, I spent over three decades building and running small businesses. When I retired in 2016, I knew I wasn’t done growing.
So I went back to study. I became a certified fitness instructor and personal trainer, specialising in exercise and brain health for older adults. I earned my Neuro Athletics Coaching Certificate, completed Meditation Teacher Training, and even pursued Fashion Styling and Advanced Personal Colour Analysis certifications. I also trained as a certified business and life coach, because wellness is about the whole person, not just the body.
Everything I create at Fabulous50s comes from a place of personal experience. I know what it feels like when your body starts changing during menopause. I know the frustration of workouts that used to work suddenly feeling wrong. I built this platform because I wanted to create the resource I wished I’d had.
